I make coding agents ship work you can trust.

Portrait of Sam Briels

I'm Sam. I design the harnesses around AI coding agents: the context they read, the rules the compiler enforces for them, the review loops that check their work, and the one moment where a person decides. The goal is agents that can run unattended without lowering the bar.

Before this I spent 12+ years as a TypeScript and React engineer and frontend architect, at companies like Brenntag, GrandVision and LeasePlan. I work as a freelancer, helping teams adopt Claude Code, Kiro and similar tools in real codebases.
